Engagement ring with a genuine cushion-cut teal color Fair Trade Malawi sapphire. The sapphire will be mounted in a half bezel setting in this unique engagement ring. The solitaire setting grows out of the rounded ring shank seamlessly. The ring will be hand-carved out of wax and handset and hand-finished. The curvy band varies in width between 2mm to about 3.5mm at the bottom.
Your ring will be custom made with the left one of the loose teal sapphires shown in the last images. They have a deeper color with a bit more blue hues than the one mounted in the reference ring. height of the setting above the finger about 5.5-6mm (1/4").
The genuine sapphire has a gorgeous teal color, a nice mix of blue and green tones. It is a very lively stone with excellent cutting. The sapphire is eye clean. The faceted Sapphire is about ~1.2 carats, 7 x 5 mm.
The sapphire was mined in Malawi and is a level 1 stone. It is sourced from Columbia Gem House, a true pioneer in the fair trade gem marketplace. Fair Trade Gems are closely tracked from mine to market to ensure that every gem has been handled according to these strict protocols. Using ethically sources gemstones with recycled metals makes this an Eco-conscious engagement ring.

The gemstone will be handset and the ring will have a mirror-polished finish. The band width varies between 2.5 to 3.5 mm. Height above the finger about 6 mm (1/4").
